Mr. Obama's "change.gov" site features an initiative that allows ordinary citizens to post issues of personal importance to them. This feature, "The Citizen's Briefing Book", also allows others users to comment and rank the importance of those issues. An anonymous blogger, Stephanie410, found out about this and got to work! Because of her effort, lung cancer has already received over 2000 points of support within this community. Using the language from a Lung Cancer Alliance letter to the then-presidential candidate, Stephanie410 succinctly and boldly presents the facts about the disease and calls for an increased focus on lung cancer.
