13-Year-Old Battles Lung Cancer

Abby Wilson is 13 and has had lung cancer for 4 years!  She is a strong and amazing girl! Her family and friends want people to know that lung cancer can affect people of all ages (even 9 year olds!), regardless of whether they have smoked in their life or not.  Abby's Dream was formed to hold walks and events to provide awareness and support for her family.

Their mission is to bring awareness that lung cancer affects people of all ages and can affect people regardless if they have ever smoked!

They plan to hold events to provide awareness about lung cancer and to help support Abby's family as they fight this dreaded disease!

The first walk for Abby's Dream is scheduled for Saturday, April 30th at Tattnall Square Academy in Macon, Georgia. Registration is at 9 a.m. with walk beginning at 10:00 a.m. and ending at 1:00 p.m. with closing remarks. Make plans to come out and walk for Abby!

  1. Thank you so much for helping us spread the word about Abby's Dream Walk! You were so kind to graciously include Abby, Tina, myself and Abby's friend Brittany in your event in Atlanta to honor the memory of your wife, mother, grandmother, friend -Joan Gaeta - and bring awareness to lung cancer and the need for research funding. We look forward to seeing you on April 30th!! - Cindy Adrien, Chair, Twilight Moms of MGA - Sponsor of Abby's Dream Walk
