Wigbels/Herbst Announces Its Web Site Launch

ATLANTA, Oct. 2, 2009 – The Wigbels/Herbst Cancer Research Fund is proud to announce the launch of its seb site, TakeAimAtCancer.org. The October launch date is significant as Jeff was diagnosed with cancer on October 11, 2006, and his son was born October 12 that same year. Thanks to M. D. Anderson and the BATTLE project, this month Jeff will celebrate his son’s third birthday — and his third year as a cancer survivor. The Joan Gaeta Lung Cancer Foundation is excited to partner with this great organization. 50% of the proceeds from Dancing for Joan 2010 will benefit the Wigbels/Herbst Cancer Research Fund - specifically the BATTLE project.
